DRINK
The Bar
Cask Ale
We're a freehouse, so we choose our own beers. Real ales on the hand pulls, on rotation, so there's usually something new to try.
Beer & Cider
A wide selection of draught and bottled beers alongside the cask, plus cider on tap.
Spirits & Cocktails
Plenty of spirits to choose from and cocktails mixed to order.
OUR STORY
Nearly Two Centuries On Spring Bank
Our building dates back to the 1820s, when it traded as the Pine Apple. It was renamed the Spring Bank Tavern around 1834 by its owner James Longhorn, a name the pub has kept ever since. In the 1890s it was home to the Hull Harriers running club, and it stood beside the old horse-drawn fire station on Hall Street, later absorbed into the pub itself. Now it's being restored as a traditional freehouse.
